Durbin planning to attach Dream to todays bill

Just got off the phone with staff, she said he is planning to attach Dream but said she is not sure if all amendments will pass..(HMM what does that mean)

Can someone please call and ask and see what they will tell you? and post it here thanks.. Call now, because the passage of this bill is already happening tonight

From what i understand, they propose many amendments to attach to a bill but many times alot of the amendments dont get voted on before cloture so they are just left off.

There is no scheduled cloture vote on this bill, because it isnt controversial its a bipartisan bill

I guess sometimes they just don't get to all the proposed amendments before the final vote.

I guess you are right i believe Reid said there are 12 amendments for this bill

Twelve amendments doesnt sound like too much. We may have a chance with this one.
