Is there a bigger risk now with what happened, in Boston, with the bombs that TSA agents will be looking for a visa on my passport and ICE inside airports? I applied for DECA and I qualify. I have not gotten approve.I have my case number. So what happens if ICE detains me? Will they let me go, because I am DECA eligible? I will be flying from the MN to Georgia connecting a flight with Fort Meyers, Flordia with Delta airlines. About fourteen other students are going on this trip.

I don't see why not. Several other dreamers have stated that they have flown with their country's passport before.

Take your I-821D receipt and Biometrics notice with you, just in case.

I have flown with my Brazilian passport without a visa many times before, never a problem. They only look at the identification page

Did they ask you for anything other than your passport? I have not traveled because of this, so I wonder if I get a passport (which more than likely I will this week) I can travel.

No, they didn't ask me for nothing else. I just showed them where the identification page is and they checked to make sure it was me and that the name on the boarding ticket matched the named on my passport. I dont know if it helped that I was traveling with other students and teachers. They didn't flip through my passport pages. They did however checked me extra. They tested my hands to check for any chemicals and they did a pat down. Remember its risk and good luck if you decide to fly.

I fly with a foreign passport with nothing on them, as long as your photo part is there you are good.

I've been thinking of traveling (yes, us illegals deserve vacations) but I also live in McAllen...and seeing how we are the border, I think there might be more problems with just a passport. I guess I'll keep on waiting.

A passport is a worldwide ID basically.

Unless you run into Border Patrol, the TSA won't check to see if you have a VISA in your passport. They just check that your Passport name matches the name on your boarding pass and that the photo on the passport is you.
