Would you still support the DREAM Act if it didn't provide in-state tuition?

Even though that this is a contentious aspect, the main objection from detractors and opposers, is that the dream act provides an "unfair" advantage over american students. That argument has always sounded like a cop-out to me.

This would mean that, everybody would have to fulfill 2 years of college, paying out-of state fees.

It would make a strong point to call opposers and simply say that lots of us are willing to accept the opportunity without the in-state privilege.

The main point is, GIVE US A CHANCE. Most of our parents had a chance to apply for visas, or at least to contemplate the option. Whereas we have always been stuck in this position by default.

What it won't pass? I hope you're not talking about the Dream Act.

And yes, I'm willing to accept the Dream Act even If have to pay out of state Tuition. All I want is an opportunity to become what i want to become. Software Engineer.

While in-state tuition would be nice, what we really need is to be able to do something.

in-state tuition, would be nice, sweet, and helpful. but i would rather have legal status here and drive, and work (etc.) legally. Just like any other person could my age. plus, working part-time, and going to college, would at least, remove some of the financial pressure of the out-of state tuition that there slapping us with, and on top of that, now we all can work legally, and pay our taxes, and have money go towards our social security when we retire. if the price of living a normal life, is having to pay out-of-state tuition, than ill pay that price, hey life isn't fair right, we have to sacrifice a thing or two. and who knows, more about sacrificing, than us, people on this forum.

Are you guys for sure, that thats the reason why, it wont pass, i thought they haven't even introduced the amendment yet?. to the senate floor?. anyways, i guess we need to start calling, senators, if thats what the opposition is complaining about, and just remove that stipulation.

I think that definately says something that 15/15 of us have said YES!!
I've always thought that in-state tuition being in there was a little odd..
If that's what it takes hell no I don't even care.. At least we'd have good jobs to pay for it!
