Whats happening at Nebraska?

I got approved in October in less than 2 months after I sent it. My brother sent it January 31st and had his biometrics March 14th and still awaits to be approved. I was just wondering has the rate of approvals at Nebraska slowed down?

There's still people waiting from August September October and a whole bunch from November. Slow your roll champ.

It seems like before they were going really fast one person on here got approved in 10 days from sending in their application, but people have been posting that its taking longer now. My timeline is as follows:

Mailed App. to Chicago: 4-5-13
Received: 4-9-13
Routed to Nebraska: 4-11-13
Biometics Appt.: 5-21-13

I for one get annoyed when Jan/Feb applicants are approved. Still, GL to your brother.

I know i understand there are people still out there waiting and im simply just asking ,for basically everyone who's service center is Nebraska, why is every other service center seem to be going faster then Nebraska?

i went through a long wait, and my friend who wasn't an over stay got it in less than 2 months

I applied 9/25/12. My application was sent to Vermont. On 4/22/13 I recieved a notice that my case was transfered to Nebraska. So Nebraska may be getting the overload that other offices can't handle.

After a request, I can expect my biometrics letter at about 3 months. They may not be very well organized with some applicants or made a mistake in the order they process applications. Honest mistakes... I guess.

I called uscis earlier today and I was told that they are currently working on case before August 31st. I was a post about this a few weeks ago, they must be working extra slow.
