Social security question

I applied today but they wouldn't accept my translated version of my birth certificate. They got copies of foriegn birth certificate, ead, and school transcripts. I was wondering what's the soonest I could call to see if they had verified it? Sorry if this has been asked before.

people are saying, after approval only 2 days to get a printout.

can someone answer this plz

I recently got my SS card but it just have my middle initial not my full middle name.....is that okay or is it an error and on my work permit my middle name is spelt out.

Just middle initial is fine. Middle names and second last names can be shortened or even omitted. Social security only cares about your first name and your last name.

So for example if your name is:
Jane Alice Doe Smith (Doe being the first last name)
You can put it as:
Jane Alice Doe Smith
Jane A Doe Smith
Jane A Doe
Jane Alice Doe
Jane Doe Smith
Jane Doe
