Anyone here a day trader or just a trader investing in the stock market? Can we purchase real estate or get approved for loans? Are we allowed with only a work authorization?

Yes you can. Already got 3K worth of investments in the stock since I was approved. You can signup with scottrade or any of the companies that do this. they only require a SSN and Id. Fill out the form..etc. But yeah, you can open a trade account and invest.

Yes. I have been an active investor for a few years. Do your own research, or <shameless_plug> become a client of my firm</shameless_plug>.

Do your research before you invest your money.

I have already invested with family members before i was approved. Anyone know about loans for buying property? I know you can purchase without being a citizen but that's with cash and must pay in full like a lot of foreign investors do. Based on what I read so far there really was no definitive answer and there is very little info on the subject so I was asking if anyone had any info from experience.

I know Scottrade offers an options for EAD, does anyone have any other suggestions in terms of companies that we can sign up with? I know TD Ameritrade requires you to be a citizen/resident.
