No matter how much our voicemails made the difference during the weekend. Dream Act will NOT pass if people dont call tomorrow, and Tuesday its that simple..... I dont care if you got to hide at work to make those calls, or skip your lunch at school.. The opposition will jump on us starting tomorrow 8:30, 9:00 am Eastern, i know it and you know it. This is it for Dream or any Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. (We are already guaranteed a vote to happen, what more can you ask for?!) if you are fine living the life you live now, go ahead and do not call. I'll see you in 2009 the earliest talking again about the possibility of CIR

I urge you to PLEASE CALL!... When the actual debate starts you can relax and watch it with a piece of mind knowing you absolutely did everything for Dream to pass, and you can take all the break from calling you want.. But if you dont call the next two days, you will have a longer break without calling and that will be 2 yrs....

The next two days are handed to you on a silver platter. You have 45 Democrats already if not more, if you do not want to call to convince ONLY 15 more Republicans, be my guest. This could be one of the easiest votes for any legalization program, but only if you make that happen. Good Luck!

No because we are not leaving voicemails or trying to make the full.

PS: If you are going to see your family members, friends whoever pass them on this list and ask them to make couple of calls... If you have brothers/sisters/cousins have them call after school tomorrow. I had my 9 yr old little sister call and leave voicemails, not only this was additional one call but how often do you think these staffers get such a young voice, and its also cute).. My sister wanted to call more then i do.

To new people, visitors, guests, whatever:

ZIP CODES:

http://www.555us.com/555FL/555fl_zipcodes.htm

CONGRESSIONAL SWITCHBOARD (in the Capitol building, FREE, you don't need long distance, just say the Senator's name and state and they connect you)

1-800-828-0498
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
http://www.dreamact.info/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1673

If you are still lost please check the Sticky threads.

I am no longer asking you to call I am telling you to call. I don't care what your issue is, cost, time, lack of privacy, work, school, whatever you just need to stay home or find the time to do it. You need to call MANY times and MANY Senators. If you are scared of calling about an immigration issue you must know that nobody in those offices cares who you really are, they only care that you call. If you're afraid of talking to people on the phone, these are people you will never meet in your life nor probably speak to again should this pass.

If you are asked for your zip - GIVE IT, I'm not telling you to do it but you might want to give a zip code from the Senator's state.
If you are asked for your name - GIVE IT, they don't give out information to anybody, this is just a secretary writing it on a piece of paper that will be shredded at the end of the day. If you don't want to then just tell them you don't wish to leave it, they won't ask you anything else.
If you are asked for your address - you can give it or you can tell them you don't wish to leave it. That's perfectly normal, I've called thousands of times without leaving my address and they haven't killed me for it yet, you'll be fine.

95% of calls are "Senator _____'s office.....I'll let him know, bye".

To our current active members:

I trust you, I will be calling, we will all be calling, assume the worst, call like you're the only one and your life depends on it.

Please be active on the forum so we can all be up to date. Please try to be logged onto MSN in case we need to find something out.

For inspiration I offer these words by Winston Churchill:

Quote:
I would say to the House as I said to those who have joined this government: I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat. We have before us an ordeal of the most grievous kind. We have before us many, many long months of struggle and of suffering.

You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word: Victory. Victory at all costs — Victory in spite of all terror — Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival.
Good luck and Godspeed.

For the past week Ive been trying to create an account, and due to the limited attempts we have to create one per day (i didnt read the code was case sensitive till now) I haven't been able to.
I have been calling as well.
My brothers, mom, friends have also.

We are here loud and clear if you guys have any doubts about being the only ones calling.

Keep up the good work, lets all push together for this.
