Got arrested yesterday ;(

So as I'm driving home last night around 7 from work, there just happens to be a security checkpoint 10 min away from my house and I failed to see it as I was driving so of course I get pulled in, several cars come to a halt, so the officer comes to me and ask for license and insurance so I give him only the insurance because of course I don't have a licence but to make long story short I get arrested, my car gets towed to which btw I won't be able to pick up until Tuesday ;( meanwhile the towing company is gonna charge me for every day the car is there plus I gotta pay a $400 admin ver to the station go some freaken reason, it's just bad start to the weekend and times like these is when I wished more I had already been approve so I can gets drivers licence, so as of now I'm completely bumme out ;( sucks so much. I'm in Chicago btw.

Since I did mention chicago, it was actually in the suburbs in romeoville, I live in Joliet. Im 30 min from chicago. Yup it was a bummer! So now my car is impounded I had to be at work this morning, I wa just to freaked out to even drive through rt53 so I just took te expressway this time. I'm sure it'll be a ridiculous amount come Tuesday when I have to pick up my car, I have court on 6/18/ ironically that's when my 60 days rfe is due for a response I'm hoping.

This is my worst fear driving before I get my DL. Were there any charges against you? Hopefully you will get approve soon so you can enjoy stress free driving.

Sorry to hear that, I was planning to go to Bolingbrook today, maybe I'll have someone else drive me. Cops in Chicago aren't really that bad compared to the ones in the suburbs. Hopefully this doesn't affect anything and you get approved before your court date.
