I just got my first job interview! It's at American Eagle! It's a sales associates job, I know lame but it's a job! What should I wear to the interview? American eagle clothes & dress pants/shoes? Or should I go completely formal? I've google'd a bunch of interview questions but just in case I missed any & if you interviewed for a sales associates job, what questions did they ask you? Any other tips? Thanks!

Show up clean and well dressed (you don't have to go suit and tie, nice jeans/shirt/shoes should be fine.) It's important to be personable since people trust those they like and want to be around.

Honestly the hardest part is getting an interview. Once you're there, it's pretty much a sanity check to make sure you match the expectations you laid out on your resume.

Got it, by the way should I mention DACA/Employment Authorization to the interviewer before the interview or tell him after the interview?

It's illegal for them to ask such question. So no, don't mention anything about DACA.

Any quarrels regarding your DACA status will be taken up with Human Resources anyways if you are offered the position.

How old are you? Yah, just go in casually dressed (clean), and just look and seem personable.

I remember the CEO of A&F claiming that he only wants 'attractive skinny people wearing his brand'. Hopefully, that's not the case with AE.

Honestly, I'd suggest going in formally dressed, you always want to look as sharp as possible. Plus, if it comes down to them picking between you and another candidate, your professional attire may set you apart and ahead of the other candidate. All the best!
