There is a group for every special interest group in existence. Sometimes they use philosophies like "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" but overall, it's every group for themselves. The gay rights groups for instance don't give a shit that CIR can be derailed and still insisting on gay rights provisions. Feminists groups probably don't care about our cause either but fight to have womens' rights issues in the bill.
