It makes me so happy to finally be able to speak to people who are in the same boat as I am.
My name is Ana, I'm originally from Honduras, but I've lived in the U.S since I was 3 years old.
If you were to ask me if I consider myself to be an American, I would say yes. I mean I've lived
in this country my whole life, I know more about this country than I do about my own.

In 2008 I will be graduating, luckily for me I'm legal here because of TPS. Although, I'm legal
here, I can't get in-state tuition in college because I'm not a resident. It's not fair to me that
I have to pay out of state tuition when I'm not even illegal.

Ontop of this, It's not fair to me that I can't get the same opportunities as an American citizen when I've worked
harder than some of them have to get where I am today. I have excellent grades in school, I'm in the top 10% percent
of my class, and I have taken the most rigorous courses my school has to offer. But because my parents
have to pay out of state tuition I will not be able to attend a college that I truly deserve to go to. Its so good
to know that I'm not alone.

I pray everday for the Dream Act to become reality, It would help so many people out.
I'm here to help with anything you guys need to help pass this ammendment! I know that together
we can make this happen!!
