Final Vote on DoD bill

As of now, the Senate leadership has not indicated when there will be a final vote on the DoD bill. Senator Levin, Senator Reid and Senator Durbin are working with the Republicans to reduce the number of amendments but it is difficult. Senator Reid has expressed hope that the bill will be finished in the not too distant future. There are currently 300 more amendments left on the bill so it looks like it will continue to take some time. Its not time to panic

According to Senator Reid, there will be 3 votes on the Hate Crimes amendment tomorrow morning and 1 vote on the SCHIP program. Senator Reid has said that there will be 4-5 votes tomorrow morning.

Senator McConnell and Senator Reid agree that the bill is a must-finish and they are working with a deadline of Monday. If necessary, they will work through the weekend.

They need to work longer hours to get things done. Its their fault nothing is getting done. What a waste of taxpayer dollars.

they didn't vote for cloture just file it so u can still have vote on other amendments but only a few
