Dear Larry,
As you very well know the immigration debate is very hot button issue in contemporary politics. I want to bring to your attention the Dream Act legislation, this is critical piece of legislation for thousands of students; recently Senator Sessions misinterpreted the legislation on the Glenn Beck show; he told that under the dream act a fifty year old could legalize his/her status in addition to emphasizing that students benefiting from the dream act will be eligible for instate tuition, this is far from the truth. Senator Durbin, modified to the legislation to take out the in state tuition and put an age cap limit at thirty years of age. As a Dream Act advocate we need to let the public know about our constant struggle to fulfill our dreams, we deserve a fighting chance at life, all we want is fair chance at improving our lives and showing our parents and society that we are intellectual beings, who want to fight for what we belief in. Please help us spread this message by hosting a panel of dreamers on you show; the show will be spoken from a dreamers perspective and not from a perspective that we are here trying to take advantage of this great country. We need to get more balanced media, that takes into account both sides of the equation, please help us fulfill our dreams Larry.
