Hey guys, thanks in advance.

I used to have my lawyers address on my two applications, but since he was really uneffective I decided to change my address so I would receive my permit, and receipts.

Here's the question: I changed the address online and got an e-mail, but someone mentioned I had to wait for something to come to my mail that confirms the address, 2 weeks have passed and I still got nothing, is the e-mail the confirmation that the address has been changed? Or do I still need to wait for this confirmation on my physical mail?

I'm on my last step, need to send some evidence for approval, please help me I really appriciated.

i would call to see if the change has been made and also to inform them that you no longer wish to have that lawyer as your representative.

once you get a letter stating that, i would make a copy of it and then write the lawyer a letter stating you are inform him/her that you no longer wish to be represented by him/her and that you have already made the change with USCIS.

I mean the change has been made..

On May 31, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

But I think I need a confirmation that they send through mail, but I have no idea.. when I called they don't seem to know anything, and they tell you they cannot tell you what the current address in the case is.

I called today and the guy told me that if it says that on the website, it means the address indeed was changed.. Now why would the other representative tell me it takes 45 days to receive a note on my mail? It's weird, every time I call I receive a different answer.

call and change ur address and do it through their website too
But it's probably already changed
