Just booked my flight to Austin TX, it seems like alot of dreamers are in the TX area, me and a couple friends basically just booked it and have nothing planned, we're basically "yoloing it" last week I was in Vegas and not too long ago I was in Florida.

Any suggestions from my fellow Texas dreamers on must do things in Austin TX? I also will be driving down to Mcallen TX so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I also know I will be visiting South Padre Island, if anyone has been there before a little insight on it would be great

I'm not from Texas but I wouldn't go to Austin if it wasn't for an important event. I don't think there's a lot to do in Austin

Im from mission close to McAllen. It will be a long drive my friend lol. There isn't really anything interesting here in the valley. SPI is the only thing which people visit as tourist. In the island is also Schlitterbahn which i think will be packed if open because of vacation. I flew to L.A last month and went to San Antonio two weeks ago and definitely want to move from here, love the big cities.

I'm really skeptical about being so close to the Mexican border lol any tips for me to avoid trouble? I feel like the U.S./Mexico border is so unsecured that you could accidentally walk into Mexico lol which I absolutley do not want to do lol fill a brother in! Haha give me some tips to avoid trouble

I just went. It was actually pretty good. I have some family there. The city is pretty nice and not suburban. But i did travel out to the suburbs because we're investing in some real estate there. Have fun and act normal! =)
