California Dream Act Question

I was trying to sign up for the Dream Act financial Aid but when I submit it gives me the message :
Database is in QUERY MODE. Changes cannot be submitted now but can be saved for later submission.

you missed the deadline. You'll have to wait until March 2014 to apply

2013-14 California Dream Act Application becomes available for AB 131 Institutional grants, community college fee waivers and Cal Grants for the 2013-14 school year.

March 2, 2013
This is the 2013-14 priority filing deadline for most state funded colleges and universities and the absolute deadline for submission of your Dream Act Application and school certified GPA for the Cal Grant program.


when you apply between January to March 2014 , the aid will be given to you for the school year Fall 2014-Spring 2015.

You got about a year wait

I just submitted right now year 2013 to 2014 I was approved they will notify me by mail with in 8 days it said with further info.

Does this pay for your entire tuition? etc. I can't afford college right now... I thought I was too late to apply for this! I want to attend a community college & become a Registered Nurse, but I have no idea how to go about it. It's been years since I've attended school but I'm ready to go back as soon as I can afford it. This would be such a blessing. Good luck! Keep me updated please. I don't want to have to wait until 2014.

P.S. People who missed the deadline have until September 2 if they plan on attending a CC? Is this true? Hmm... I hope so!

Thank you! I have a few more questions, I hope you or anyone can help answer:

1) Is there a limit on the age to qualify for a Cal Grant? e.g. 31 & under?
2) Is there a requirement on the GPA to be eligible? e.g. 2.0+ ?
3) What is a Cal Grant GPA? (& its requirement if any?) or is it referring to my High School GPA?

I can't seem to find this information anywhere... Thanks in advance!

P.S. Other than that...
I know I qualify for AB540, AB 130 and AB 131 but I don't know if I do based on my age & gpa... I'm also eligible for DACA, so I applied in the middle of May 2013... but I'm still currently waiting on approval since I just had my biometrics done this past Thursday. I hope I get approved soon. Anyways congratulations on your approved application!
