I mean, their reasoning behind saving a human life is that the baby had no say in the matter, it is an innocent human being, it is morally wrong etc. etc.. How aware were we at the age of 2 or at whatever young age we were brought here for that matter? Not very aware I would say. Most if not all right-wing, conservatives are pro-life, yet many do not support the DREAM act. Some liberals also do not support DREAM but this does not apply to them since many if not all are pro-choice.

We also had no say in the matter. We do not have much to do with the moral part though, as no one is being killed in this case besides our dreams. Their argument towards us is "well blame your parents" "the parents are responsible".

And so in the case of pro-life vs pro-choice, they will look past the responsibilities of the parents and say that the child should not pay the price. Using similar logic, why are we being held responsible for something our parents did? I would appreciate it if a troll from the opposition stated their view.

Also what are your thoughts regarding this matter? If you voted no, please state why.

They should be for but they aren't. I'm always perplexed by the fact that the people who should support us the most are actually all against us.

I'm pro-life and pro-death penalty. I think everyone deserves a chance but once you waste it you don't deserve to live.

Once again, I agree.

I don't think support for Dream logically follows from a pro life mindset. Most pro lifers are against abortion because they view it as murder. They aren't against adoption or many other things that the baby doesn't have a say in. They're mostly against abortion because it ends a human life.

I voted yes, though, because I think everybody should...

Yeah, but what bothers me is when you have people say that they are against abortion bc it's murder, but then they turn around and advocate for the death penalty... It doesn't make sense to me... Specially when it comes from ultra religious groups.

I'm pro-life, but I'm against the death penalty... but that doesn't mean that I don't think that certain crimminals deserve to have a very painful death, I just don't think we're the ones who should have that power.

im pro choice and against death penalty.

i don't think the government should have the right to take ur life.. (that should be left to the family u committed a crime against!!!!111)

i also think the number one think that should occur is sex education when a kid is young.
and learn how to be safe. (not virgins that doesnt work)

everyone is so uptight about sex
no one ever really talked about it (in an educated way)

so if u do that. it will mean more people are safe from pregnancy's . less abortions.

and i also strongly believe its a womans choice and it should be left at that.

I'm against the death penalty, but not because many people who get the death penalty don't deserve to die. They do. Most murderers and every rapist deserve to die. However, I think we are betraying our own selves by lowering ourselves to their level. Also, there are many people who are sentenced to death or are innocent. I think it was last year that there was this huge expose in Houston about mistakes that the criminal labs had made, several people who had been executed were later exonerated. I don't think we should take chances with people's lives like that.

I agree, who are WE to take a life? Even if it's for the "right reasons"... There are plenty of crimminals that deserve to die, but we (or the gov't) aren't the ones who should decide
