Was told to move my thread here to receive a little more help

Checked my status online this morning after waiting 2 months for a reply to my RFE proof and it turns out i'm denied. I'm pretty damned depressed, what exactly do I do at this point?

My RFE was for a Time gap I had to fill in for june 2012 it specifically asked for proof of the week DACA was put into place it also stated I didn't show enough proof i'm in school.

showed 2 paycheck stubs for that month and the month before it, including a letter from the vice president of the company i work for stating i was here on the week that DACA was put into place. Typed on a letter head with the company logo and contact info

Showed a notarized letter from my school showing i'm currently taking online classes for my high school diploma 3 credits from being done*

You'll have to wait until the denial arrives to see which of the two it was. I'm leaning toward the school requirement, is it funded by the state?

There seems to be an uptick in the amount of denials recently. The only thing that one can do is wait until the denial notice comes and act accordingly from there.

Sorry, a lot of denial lately... How sad.

Without reading your letter, I imagine the officer was confused by the affidavits. Remember that according to the guidelines on their website, affidavits can not be used for those two categories you got the rfe letter for.

I think you may need to pay again to re-apply once you get the high school diploma. Make sure it is accredited too.

"Such evidence of enrollment may include: acceptance letters, school registration cards, letters from school or program, transcripts, report cards, or progress reports showing the name of the school or program, date of enrollment, and current educational or grade level, if relevant."

Sent in my transcript back in oct when i first did the app how did that not work?

Ah yes, I forgot about that. If they asked for proof specifically the week that DACA was announced, the letter might not have been enough since you can't use affidavits to prove that you were here on June 15, 2012.

Do paycheck stubs work? because I sent those in, 2 for the month of june

I used an affidavit for the school part so i'm guessing that's why its denying me.

Still don't understand why my transcript didn't initially work then

If you feel it was their mistake , you may need to get a lawyer to make them review it again. Someone in this forum was successful this way. Or you can try it yourself...

Well, they accept letters from the school, I don't think that's considered an affidavit. The paystubs may have worked.
