California's real estate website(http://www.dre.ca.gov/Examinees/RequirementsSales.html) lists one of the requirements as "Residence: Proof of Legal Presence in the United States is required." Under the list of acceptable documents it lists:

Quote:
An alien whose deportation is being withheld under Section 243(h) of the INA (as in effect immediately prior to September 30, 1996) or Section 241(b)(3) of such Act (as amended by Section 305(a) of Division C of Public Law 104-20. Evidence includes:

INS Form I-668B (Employment Authorization Card) annotated "274a.12(a)(10)";
INS Form I-766 (Employment Authorization Document) annotated "A10";
That doesn't exactly apply to us, but then again, I don't expect government-run real estate website to have up-to-date immigration information. Has anyone here who has been approved successfully gotten a real estate license or knows anyone that has?

That information is a quite outdated seeing as how the INS ceased to exist since 2003. With that being said, we do have an I-766 (Employment Authorization Document) and our deportation is being withheld, but like you said, that information doesn't pertain to us, but I don't see why we wouldn't apply.

I'm gonna try calling the real estate bureau and asking, although I very much expect the person on the other end to not know the answer.

I would still like to know if any DACA approved individuals on this forum have obtained RE license, that would save me a lot of hassle.
