I saw a couple of posts of people who contacted their congressman or senator for help in pushing USCIS to act a little faster/actually take a look at their applications.

So, have you contacted your congressman or senator? What did you say/write? What was the outcome?

Just so others can refer to this thread for help and real stories of success or failure.

How/where did you write the director of USCIS?

Asking because I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to know!

[email protected] <---- he is the Director of USCIS

[email protected] <------ he is the Acting Chief/Project Liaison Team

I emailed both of them and explained that I had been waiting since September. Gave my time line and simply asked if they could look into why my case was taking so long.

I emailed both seperately. The email from Mayorkas got forwarded to Lujan then I received an email from Lujan asking them for time to look into the issue. Unlike a service request there was no time frame (15, 30, 45 days). A week later, both my applications were approved.

Don't know if it was sending them emails or if my application was just finally up in the order but either way, it never hurts to try every avenue possible.
