With DACA (after you obtain a DL or state ID), you can travel to these places:


- All 50 states (including Alaska & Hawaii)
- Puerto Rico
- American Samoa
- United States Virgin Islands
- Northern Mariana Islands
- Guam

some DREAMers have already shared their stories traveling to Puerto rico and the Virgin Islands without any issues.

America Samoa is a no go. They have a different immigration system separate from the US.

i heard successful stories going to Puertorico, but not Guam, Virgin Island, or Mariana Island?.. Can anyone share their experiences or opinions?

The islands you have listed are unconfirmed and should not be taken seriously.

I can confirm both Puerto Rico and Hawaii because I've been there and back and I'm not even approved for daca yet ! All u need is state ID!

to return to the USA without a passport is by taking Hawaiian Airlines, not an international airline.

The list is safe...just take domestic flights to return to the USA...it is common sense.

I went to Puerto Rico & on the flight back was asked my citizenship and to show my permit

So Puerto Rico for sure?? I was gonna a trip there, but I read that for non us citizens you have to carry proof of legal status. I know I'm technically legal here but can't leave the mainland. Anyhow, don't want to go through all the pages to search for an answer here. Anyone can confirm that Puerto Rico is safe??
