another last chance this year

i saw a message on this board saying that theres a possibility before nov.16? what exactly is that?
and is threre a hope next yr? if so, how big is the chance?

forget about a chance this year, but remember that a year goes by really fast and at that time there aren't any excuses as to why they can't pass an immigration bill.

I don't think there is any chance this year, maybe next. But An inmigration reform will be made eventually, because they know the system is broken.
so when? probably until new president comes to office.

yeah, i really don't think there is any more hope this year...unless the senate have extra time (highly unlikely) to bring it up again. anyways, hewlett and a lot of people are working on a revision of the bill, and we can see what durbin thinks of it, and it will go from there. it's really sad, but I can't see the republicans and democrats ever finding a common ground on the issue of immigration. they (republicans like sessions, vitter, etc) don't even want to compromise, they wouldn't even give a chance on the dream act to be debated!! i mean, that says a whole lot about people like sessions.

Those republicans acting like Mr. Sessions are being inresponsible, because they don't want to face the problem. They think by ignoring it "illegals" will leave the country, when they will not or...we will not?? lol

I hate people who've rarely posted and then come here begging to know if there's another chance. There have been dozens of threads and responses about this already. READ THOSE OTHER THREADS!!!
