Texas: Applying to College

Hello guys, I am currently applying for colleges in Texas. Do you guys have any tips with the process, using applytexas and TASFA.

The schools I'm looking into are
Texas A&M
UT
UH
Sam Houston
UT in Dallas maybe Arlington too

Do any of you guys go to any of these? How do you guys like it? What's your major? Are there any others I should look into?
