CA Dream ACT/Financial Aid Help!

I applied for CA Dream Act before deadline. It was for 2013 Fall/2014 Spring.

I live with my grandparents and my dad. And They don't work, don't make any money.

I'm the only one who has my business and pays everything.

About a week ago, I received email saying that my financial aid was processed.

So, I took a look at the financial aid summary and it show that I have $10504 remaining need.

Does that mean I will be receiving $10504 in a check?

My tuition for 2013 Fall and 2014 Spring has already paid..

My question is how did u access the federal aid... are you a daca applicant?

Like I said. It's my first time applying for such a thing and I don't even know what I'm getting.

I don't know if it's a Cal Grant, Fed Aid.

I never applied for DACA but I qualify. And I go to community college.

Seems to me that your estimated financial aid budget is 11,850 but you're only getting 1,346 so the 10,504 is what you still need not Money their giving you. Lol I think... that's the way I see it. Then again I never received such help. But I really doubt they'd give you so much money.

Cal Grants are university's not community college, what CC do you attend? Did you apply for ab540 and ab131?
