I was just wondering if anyone has gotten back from a study abroad program. I know that there are some people that left for a few days or weeks and were able to come back, but I have not read about people who left for months. Thanks

Second that, also can you travel to other countries while abroad. For instance, while in Europe could you visit more countires than your AP states?
Thank you.

I had the same question so I talked to an immigration lawyer and I was told that it'll be fine to travel to other countries once outside the United States. She also recommended to return from the country that you initially went to but even then it shouldn't matter.
I was approved for AP and I'm going to visit multiple countries other then the one I advised USCIS I was going to. I honestly think it's fine. Just avoid going to countries such as Cuba, Iraq etc.
