I posted this in the News section too, seemed news worthy. I don't know if anyone has already posted about this, if so sorry for re posting. I found this on a facebook page called Immigration Benefits for Dream Youth posted by Attorney at Law Katy Chavez & I posted the link from USCIS. I know there has been a lot of talk about advance parole concerning Dreamers. I am also going to try & apply for AP here soon.

From the Fb website by Attorney Katy Chavez:

Quote:
Yesterday's announcement about Parole in Place for family members of active and past military members ALSO has clarifications for *everyone* using parole. If you read the memo you will see that it clarifies that anyone paroled (including by Advance Parole for DACA) will not be inadmissible for having entered without inspection, and that applicants that have been paroled and that are immediate family members of US Citizens can adjust their status in the United States without the need for a waiver.

yeah we kinda of knew this already, the other one was if you EWI, you could remove that with DACA and A.P so it's easier to adjust if you married someone

Parole in place is a special kind of parole granted to family members of members of US armed forces. Unlike advance parole it does not require one to actually depart and re-enter the country instead the person is considered to be paroled in while still inside us.

The memo concentrates on parole in place, however it does clarify that illegal entry does get cleared by a person getting paroled in. Not DACA specific, however even before this it could be implied for DACA from the effects of AP on illegal entrants having TPS.

All kinds of parole (including advance parole, humanitarian parole, and parole in place) are applied for using form I-131, even if they have nothing to do with advance parole.
