Has anyone applied and gotten a California DL / ID with DACA?

Is the duration 2 years or 5 years?

Thanks

Two years. The 5 year licenses and IDs issued were apparently mistakes and most people who received them had a new 2 year ID send to them with a request to return the 5 year one.

Wait what? Was I the only one that didn't get a 2 year ID in the mail? I still have my 5 year DL and ID.

no wonder I just got a letter from DMV today saying they need me to mail back my homeland security documents.... (they didnt specify which)

so I guess they will send me a new one as soon as I send back the copies of the letters.

Do you guys know if i should send the i821-d or the i765? or both?

That's so strange because I just got the new license in the mail without any warning or request for documents.
Must depend on your county/city?

So i called the 916 number that's on the letter, its busy most of the time and when someone does answer they think they're the law of the land, i spoke to some dude which i chose to not remember his name, he wasn't very helpful and just told me that i need to send my work permit (no duh) yeah, crappy experience.
