I am still waiting to be approved! I have been waiting a total of 14 months...smh

I sent NSC an email around Jan 9 this was their response:
Good morning,

We have received your inquiry stating that your Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (Form I-821D) is beyond the expected six month processing period. USCIS is making every effort to process these cases within the stated timeframes and hope to move your case in the near future. We are actively processing this case, however, we have to perform additional review on this case and this has caused a longer processing time. If you have not received a decision or other notice of action on this case within 60 days, please contact us for an update.

The National Customer Service Center’s toll free number is 1 800 375 5283 or you may access the CIS web site at www.uscis.gov should you have any further questions or need additional information.

Regards,

USCIS Nebraska Service Center

Sorry to burst your bubble but that just means "we'll work on it eventually, leave us alone".

I can understand your frustration, it's going to be 14 months for me as well unfortunately i know there's nothing I can do to get approve anytime soon. I am tired of receiving the same generic reponces about my case. At this point I feel I will never get approved.

I feel you guys... I'm the same way. I'm running out of hope.

They call us "dreamers" yet they keep crushing our dreams.

They call us dreamers because we wanted them to.

Keep on dreaming dreamers.

My theories are still the same: previous case (criminal or immigration), older than 25, and no children or wife. It's accurate in most of the times.

Like I said, it's the fact that they gave us a dream and they're not really letting us have it.
