Hey guys,

Has anyone travel with their employment card? I am still waiting on my ssn and i want to take a little paid vacation before i leave my current job since it looks like i have a better job almost guaranteed around the corner. Let me hear your stories thanks..

Technically you can because it is a form of a government issued ID. But I wouldn't advise it. Tis' better to loose a $15 state ID card than to loose a $465 one that could take an extra 3-6 months to recieve.

I agree with smilie. Too risky to lose your EAD. It's very costly to get a replacement

True true hopefully it will arrive this week. I got a letter from the social security office saying they had already verified my documents and to expect my ss card within two weeks
