Soon = 3 months.

So I got approved for DACA on 5/14/13 and got my FL DL on 6/14/13.
My DL is only good for 1 year so it expires on 6/14/14. When it comes close to 6/14/14, will I have issues renewing it for another year?

I'm asking b/c my DACA will expire on 5/14/15(before potential renewal) and I'm afraid FL DMV will deny renewal of DL b/c of that short period of time where I "might" not have DACA.

For those that live in FL and have gotten a FL DL via DACA, what was your experience like in renewing after 1 year.

Thank you!

You won't have any issues. They'll renew it until your EAD expires. I renewed his in October with no problem

Thank you for responding. A huge sigh of relief. Just curious, did they extend another full year or did they extend it to the date of your EAD expiration?

Generally rules for the states are 180 or 90 days of validity of status left.
You'll be fine.
It will likely expire the same day as your EAD.

It think it's the date your EAD expires. Can't remember for sure

Yes, you can re-new without any problem and they make it valid until your EAD expires. When I re-newed mine this year, it was valid for less than one year because my EAD expires this year.
