I will try my best to answer. I cannot disclose what bank I work for but I was hired as a teller in april 2013 and was promoted to CSR/Relationship Banker in October 2013. I have health insurance and lots of other benefits from my employer.

If any of you have any questions on what was needed to get hired or how my whole process has been, ask away. I know normally these threads should have proof, but I just feel really uncomfortable providing proof. Lol sorry, believe me if you wish. I barely post here nowadays.

Desperately waiting to find out whats going on with the renewal process so that I can continue to progress in this line of business. I'm really anxious to know what will happen before the 2 years are up.

On a side note, I see a lot of questions regarding credit and credit cards, the secured card I got was US Bank Harley Davidson secured cc. It has no annual fee so thats what really got me to apply for it and the interest never affected me. After a year of using it, I have built up my credit well. By making payments in FULL and on TIME. If you have any financial questions as well, ask away. I'll try my best to respond whenever I check the forums again.

My question is almost the same. Do you know if someone can open a bank account WITHOUT a SSN and ITIN?

Congrats!

Congrats!

You can open with an ITIN and a consulate ID card if it's from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. There might be others but those are the only ones I know for sure.

You CANNOT open if you don't have either of the two (SS or ITIN).
Why wouldn't you have an ITIN??

Congratulations on your promotion

1) What was your pay as a teller

2) What is your pay now as a banker

3) What is your vacation time / sick days / benefits like?

4) How did you get hired as a teller? Know somebody at the bank? Hired from an interview?

5) How did you get promoted to a banker? Know somebody at the bank? Were you more efficient than the other tellers?

Sorry for all the questions, but I am trying to find out information on many careers and there is no limit on the information I want to absorb, lol

1) Do you have a degree?
2) Do I need a degree to get such a position?

I was thinking about applying in a similar approach but I am afraid because my employment history is weak. What are your suggestions to someone who is interested in becoming a teller? Is it really demanding as it sounds?
