Working for the school district (CA)

Im planning to apply at this school district were my friends work, they are Citizens and my question is if I a daca beneficiary could work for a school district?

What school district? They mostly do background checks and fingerprints

I currently got into an internship with Sac State, to work for a CA agency. I had no problems whatsoever and no fuzz about my permit either. So technically Im working for the state. Im not so sure, but I believe it depends on position.
