Most people here just don't have the money to contribute. We are at a stage where either we have to support our family, pay tuition for college and etc... We only have our work permit for less than 2 year, most people are still struggling.

Actually the fund was supposed to be for those who COULD get DACA but wanted someone else to pay for it. As someone who is aged out, I don't need it. All I ask is just mention us at the next Dream Act luncheon when you're taking selfies with your EAD cards.

Late 40's Dreamer (Holy Fucking shit I'm almost 50 and still dealing with this), aged out of original DACA and didn't have a chance to apply for extended DACA after Republicans killed it on the vine.

Iamaman is correct, initially, there was talk about creating a charity fund to help DREAMers who qualify for DACA but could not afford to pay the fees.

Though this would be very helpful, I'd be more interested in a fund that helps DREAMers attain low interest college loans..
I know there was talk about creating some sort of credit union. I'd be very interested in participating in such project.
