When I first heard of DACA almost 2 years ago I thought I will be approved but after seen the requirements I saw I qualify except for the age. I came on 1999 when I was already 16, all the other requirements I meet. It was the first time I traveled to USA, I don't have any previous entries. I also know that every case is different and they can review each one independently. but it will be really helpful if someone knows of a case similar to mine that has been approved. I don't want to apply and loose the almost $500 since I don't have money to spare. regarding lawyers, as soon as the law came out, I visited couple ones they told me to wait and she cases similar to mine, my sister is a paralegal, we are Christians and she thinks I should do it. I don't have any criminal problems or anything like that, I am not afraid of applying, but of loosing my money...

PLEASE HELP... Thank you

Just make sure you can find a document that shows you were here at age 16, for example immunization records, dentist records, school records....etc.

I came to the United States when I was still 15 years old, but didn't go to school because it was in the middle of the school year. I applied and sent all the evidence I had (when I was still 15 years old of course). Some lawyers didn't want to take my case because they didn't believe me? Idk. Anyway, I still got denied. You can read my threads. Be ready to lose your money, but you might get approved? The chances are really really small though. I already lost $900 and sometimes when I feel frustrated I feel like applying again...

My wife came to the U.S. 3 months before she turned 16. Literally the only proof she had was her immunization records since she didn't start going to school until 6 months later. Her lawyer (who we consider a really good immigration lawyer) told us that if it wasn't for that immunization card, there was a good chance she would have been denied.

I have yet to see anyone who doesnt meet that requirement to be approved. Its kinda like people who were over 30 at the time of DACA and they decide to apply...I think the requirement are clear and USCIS has made exceptions accordingly (like people who were here before 16 left and came back so as long it was before 2007) its a tough situation.

Unfortunately, it would be a waste of your money to apply for DACA. You must meet all of the requirements in order to be eligible for consideration.

As far as every case being different and reviewed independently, yes, but that's after the applicant has met the 7 Guidelines. If they don't meet the guidelines, they don't qualify for review.
