if you pay minimum balance on time each month, there is no interest rate added right? if so, how do banks make money off of me? everyone is not stupid to pay late for 20% interest rate.

What do you mean? Like making minimum payment and carrying a balance?

If you keep a balance, you will pay interest.

Paying minimum payment = No late fee
Paying full balance = No interest

I always pay the balance off in full. How do banks or CC companies make money off of you? Each time you use your credit card to buy something, the place you buy it from pays a % of your total to the bank or company. Its a trade off.
