CA DL Renewal Questions
I figured a few of us who live in California and also applied for DACA during the first few months of its release should be up for our Driver License renewals as well. Today, the DMV sent me the Renewal Notice telling me to renew my ID and to pay the $28 fee. Reading the letter made me think that they weren't telling me to renew my DL, but just the ID. Mind you, I originally applied for an ID first before taking the driving test and acquiring my license...So I do have two forms of identification. I havent received any letters to renew my DL so far. I'm not sure if they are just dismissing my DL renewal or if this renewal letter for my ID serves as a notice to renew my license as well. I'm not too sure as the fee that they are asking pertains to the ID renewal fee which is $28 as opposed to the $33 that is required for license renewals. I was just wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me...I guess this is more for those of you who have both forms of identification. Am I supposed to receive two letters for each card or one letter serves as double purpose...or what? Lol. Sorry, I am just quite confused, thats all. Any input would be awesome

It expires 09/17/2014. Thats the same day my EAD expires (I just filed for renewal on my EAD)
