Ok, maybe I missed the train. I just finished watching "Documented" on CNN and was expecting a roar of posts about it. Am I the only one who cares? Or has everyone turned into a cold-hearted bitch after they received their DACA approval?

It really sunk my heart and truly humbled me. I haven't cried this much since I hit complete rock bottom a couple of years ago. Jose Antonio Vargas, you have complete support from my family and me. You are beyond brave for sharing this documentary nationally. I applaud you and thank you for representing us.

The comment section is really something else. Not sure how some of these people wake up every day with so much hate, I would had gone batshit by now with their attitude.

I want to watch it, but seems like it will be a while before it either is repeated on tv or it is shown at a local theater.

We all dont have the time as much as you do go be watching this. Some of us work and stuff . Some of us dont also need to see our everyday lives in the form of a documentary.

Also Jose Antonio Vargas comes out and suddenly he's a hero while some dreamers left here and saw to come back to make a point and receive here from us?

For those who still want to watch it, I'm sure the CNN website has a stream of it.

Just as an FYI, it played on Sunday at 9PM. I'm sure two hours of your time to support a fellow DREAMER isn't too much to ask. I guess some people have already forgotten that DACA isn't citizenship. SMH!

Why are you so angry about this? I for one had not heard about this documentary and now that I saw your post, I looked it up and I'm planning on watching it.. It's okay to be passionate about something but don't try to shove it down people's throats cause then it turns them away. People have lives and not all of them could watch it. Sometimes things such as work or family get in the way. Either way, thanks for the recommendation and I plan on watching it soon.

The documentary about is mediocre at its best. Doesn't shows the major problems real illegal aliens have. It's just a show to sugar coat and single out Jose into getting him pity.

I recommend to not watch it.

Btw are you also posting this mad and angry on your Facebook feed ?

I pretty much agree with this. The connections he's made through his previous job posts has really helped him out. He's definitely raking in $.

It's not so much as anger. It's a topic we can all relate, I'm sure if I put myself out there, I would hope I would have fellow dreamers be supportive of that. But I guess I'm wrong.

@Pianoswithoutfaith What's facebook? People still use that?

I know many can relate to him, but the guy does seem like an opportunist. The whole "I'm not an illegal immigrant, I'm undocumented" sounds like a catchphrase that he wants to start for publicity. I'm sorry but as someone who has seen both my oldest brother and my wife go from illegal immigrants to successful people in this country, I see this documentary as less about immigration and more about the guy looking for sympathy. My wife went from illegal immigrant to DACA recipient to U.S. resident in a span of one year. She now volunteers with the Mexican consulate to inform people about DACA and share her story. She doesn't want people to have sympathy or feel sorry for her struggles, but rather to see that hard work can pay off and that it is possible to do or be who you want to be.
