Yeah, don't read the comments. People like Vargas are incredibly brave to put that target on the back.

Coming out for him was a purely strategic move. Had he not had the support of public figures and senators/congressman things may not be as easy for him right now. He did this (with a fair certainty) of knowing that nothing 'should' happen to him.

Good point, but even with my DACA and protection from deportation, I wouldn't out myself. He's becoming one of the major faces of this, win or lose.

I think not, I wouldn't call it cowardice...more like self preservation. The first law of nature, lol

Haha, you would if you were backed by senators, businessmen, media personalities, and people who have a voice in the public. I'm pretty sure he's getting compensated fairly well for everything. He keeps talking about not being able to have a job but being able to own a business. Funding is definitely coming his way, and I wouldnt be surprised if its in the hundred thousands.

Yeah the different between him and you, people wouldn't think about deporting you. They would rather have him stay here than you. Hes really just out there to protect his ass and make it seem like hes fighting for the res of us but no he isnt. He has more support than every DACer combined times 10, he know he wont get deported.

I do respect him for coming out of the "closet" but I cannot sympathize with him, we are just in a different level
