Hey all, I was just wondering what all of you guys would do if DACA was discontinued? Would you go back to the country you were born in? Would you continue living in the shadows? Would you be all depressed and sad? I am just curious because as you know, DACA can be discontinued at any given notice, so we should be prepared if that happens. As for me, if DACA was discontinued I would go leave to Mexico and live my life over there. I would not be able to continue living here illegally without my work permit. Just thinking about losing my good job, my driver's license, my health insurance, and benefits sucks. I would pack up and go get me a job in Mexico. I would take advantage of my knowledge of English and my Bachelor's degree.

I would move to Portugal (my home country) or any other nation in the Schengen Area. At least going to college is affordable in the EU.

Really? Even though you never had a permit?

That's exactly why. Because I would hate to go back to not having my permit and lose my job, my license, my health insurance, and everything I have been able to get. It would suck to go back to how I started

TBH it's back to "normal". I will lose my good job but I am sure I'd be able to save enough to find another gig.

We're strong because we struggled before, no EAD will ever change that for me.

I'd probably try to apply for a green card through my parents. They're due to become citizens by the end of next year.

What a waste of thread. Live your life to the fullest! Enjoy and abuse your permit and its privileges. Post a thread like this when the president takes away DACA. Help someone out or go do a good deed, SMH.
