Late Sept. 2014 Expiration

Was everybody who has late sept expiration date approved for renewal? Mine expires on Sept 24th and I did my biometrics late june, but I still haven't heard anything at all from them. I am getting more and more anxious...

I have not been approved yet and I expire on 9/11.

Hope, I'm so surprised you don't have yours yet! Quite a few people with September expiration dates have gotten approved. I expire on 9/26, and my application was processed on 6/19.

I'm hoping for something this week or next week.

I don't believe they're approving applicants by their expiration date or by their biometrics date. I believe they're being processed by received date.

Oh, definitely! But you didn't send your application that late anyway, right? That's why I'm saying that I'm surprised you still haven't heard anything.

I'm 9/11 too. Sent 6/12, received 6/16. Bio 7/1. There is no reason why it should be any additional review time, no criminal record and I didn't travel.

And yesterday when I spoke with Ombudsman, they were reading my case and mentioned how my biometrics had been good so I think my application is just sitting there until they get to it.

Mine was received 6/19. I like to think that you, Hope, and I will hear something by next week. On average, I think our applications were received two weeks away from the people who got approved last week. So there's that.

But just in case, I have the day off from work tomorrow, and I'm gonna be filling out the Ombudsman with my case, etc.
