I was approved 11/25/2014 initially but was a little late on the renewal due to lack of funds. I ended up mailing out the app 8/25/2014 express priority and it landed the next day about 12 noon. I haven't gotten receipt notices yet but I'm assuming that the latest they should be here is by this Thursday or Friday. I am currently working two jobs and I think that either one can give me the unpaid time off so that I can hopefully keep both jobs. However, instead of just waiting around, I'm trying to be proactive to get this renewal rolling right away. I planned to do an early walk in when my bio appointment came as well as to contact my congressman yet I don't know when to do so. I've researched like crazy and just wanted to know should I wait until after the bio? After 75 days from receipt date? Just whatever tips you have please let me know cause I REALLY do not want to spend weeks at home Thanks in advance!

Wait, is this really a thing? Asking congressmen to help accelerate DACA approvals/renewals?

This is like the 2nd or 3rd topic I have seen about this...lol...

Our DACA means nothing to them, everyone needs to handle their own business as far as DACA goes IMO.

Your local House rep can help make inquiries about issues you have with any federal organizations (USCIS, IRS, etc.) It doesn't mean that they'll help expedite your case, but they can help you get the answers you need.

OP, don't do it until you're at most 2 weeks away from your expiration date and you've seen other people with later expiration dates get approved before you. You don't have to worry about anything until November. Just sit back and enjoy your DACA for now.
