Hey guys sorry if this was asked before.

My EAD was renewed but because my EAD card was misplaced by USPS, I will have to wait another 30 days to get it. My EAD card and DL will expire before then.

My question is for work purposes, did your employer get in touch with you regarding our status? If an EAD card is extended, would that extend through e-verify as well meaning HR will not get in touch with us unless there is a problem?

So far at my job, no one has mentioned anything. Should I contact HR before they contact me? will they need a copy of my new EAD?

Thanks

Yes they will need a copy of your new renewed EAD Card or your employment can be terminated.

I believe they can contact the USCIS to verify that you are still authorized to work in the US.

If you are getting a new card I believe you can show that receipt instead of the EAD card that was lost

Well the thing is your SSN does not change and it will continue to be in good standing as far as work authorization is concerned. Don't contact anyone. Just wait it out until you get your new card. You should be fine.
