You pay it.

And that's it.

people tell me to plead not guilty, at least don't incriminate myself. but to save time and energy, i think i'm just gonna pay for it. however, this happened right after i submitted my renewal...will this effect anything for that you think?

I ran a red light camera ticket and received a bill too, with video. You pay it and that's it. It doesn't affect your DACA.

Traffic offenses do not affect DACA. Pay the ticket, you can plead not guilty but then you need to go to court and while you might receive a lower penalty from the judge its hardly worth the effort, especially that they have the evidence of you running the light.
You will not receive points on your license.

Since you were not stopped by an actual cop, it's not considered a moving violation and doesn't affect anything other than your wallet. In a lot of cities, people have voted to get rid of them since they actually end up causing more accidents as people who would otherwise go through a yellow light slam on their brakes so rear collisions increased. Also, many cities shortened the yellow light so they would catch more people and it became obvious that rather than a safety issue, this was more revenue generation for the cities.

I got one 4 years ago from a tiny city that had only one major intersection and it was because I didn't come to a complete stop at the red light while making a right turn. The company that ran it was based in Arizona. A lot of people don't even pay them and there wasn't much the city could do about it, but in our situation, it's best to just pay the $100 and chalk it up as being robbed.

Suck it up and pay it.
Then you have a good story to tell.

As long as it doesn't effect DACA, I will just pay for it. Mine is $140....which is larger than normal.
