I went from JFK to GRU (Sao Paulo) on August 19. I came back yesterday after 20 of the best days of my life.

Coming back at GRU they asked me for my Visa or Greencard but I showed them the AP and they let me board the plane without a problem. I got a window seat and the seat next to me was free, so I got to lay down on both seats. Better than first class.

Back at JFK I got on the Permanent Residents line. I told the officer I was traveling with the AP and he brought me to another room. He flipped though my passport, I guess he was seeing if I had traveled to another country during my trip. There was nothing on my passport since I had never used it.

I waited 5 minutes and another officer called me. He asked me if I was a student, and I said yeah. He asked about my green card application but I told him I didn't file any, but that I had to renew my DACA every two years. He asked me about my parents and I said my dad is in Brazil but my mother is here. Other than that, there were no more questions. He said as long as Obama is in office I'm good with DACA. He paroled me for 1 year and wished me good luck and I was good to go.

Since I was bringing lots of food and alcohol from Brazil, they opened my luggage to check it. Everything was okay though.

God bless America.

Nope. My brother lost his luggage and it had two bottles of liquor. They opened the bag and saw the alcohol and we still got it all back. Most of the stuff were sealed. U can't bring any fruit or plant tho.

CARNIVORE my brah welcome back. I would be super nervous if they asked me about my parents? Bad situation. Fear if you say the truth they'll come get them, if you lie they will get you. Anyway, I might need your guidance brah. My AP papers were accepted by USCIS this past monday. I have still not received notification that it was accepted. I'm looking to get approved to leave by Nov 25th!

You can indeed bring plenty of alcohol. I brought some fucking cachaça.

I'm not worried about telling them about my mom. I seriously doubt they would go after her.

Are you mom and dad separated?

What are you plans now? Are you still gonna go to France?
