Or time consuming? Finding a job or waiting to get approved for EAD? I was approved about 2 months ago (thank God), and I started my job search as of August. I decided to re-apply to my old job which I had to leave the previous year because my EAD from another immigration case had expired, and I couldn't renew it since that case was denied. So, I decided to apply for DACA and was approved and everything. Now after re-applying to my old job and getting re-hired, they are making me wait on a freaking background check that is taking forever. It's been almost 2 weeks now. And like why the hell are they making me go through a background check again?? Just so frustrating. I really hope this works out. I like this particular job know everyone there and it is so close to my home. I don't wanna go and start another job elsewhere. How long do these stupid background checks take? I called to check up and they said a few more days. I am getting anxious and restless and sick of waiting. Ugh . Just needed to vent.

Try to remember the times where we had no status and were basically unable to do the things that we've begun to take for granted. Not to preach to you but that's what I do when it hits the fan..Just keep the faith and everything will work out yo.
