Be Careful. The moment you step outside the US without advanced permission you will be considered self deported.

This applies even going to Canadian side of Niagara Falls; US Customs and Border Patrol has stations there and you will not be able to come back into the US.

You need permission (AP) and a visa for the country you are visiting. If you want to go to Canada, you will need Advance Parole and a Canadian visitors visa.

Bro no offense. Are you being serious right now? This level of understanding is super basic. Hawaii is a state of the United States just like Connecticut, New York, Arkansas etc. Therefore, being in Hawaii would be considered being in the United States. You don't need AP to travel to another state lmfao. You can travel within the United States. Just make sure you don't have any connecting flights which stop in different countries and you're good.
