I am so confused right now 😓😓 yesterday i tried getting 2-year contract with at&t but they were asking $1000 deposit for my lines crazy right!! Instead i tried wih sprint that was asking only $100 but then the lady started asking me "security" questions , asking me if a knew some random dude and i if ever lived in some cities and i said no, then she told me that i was not going to be able to get contract with them that i need it to apply again after 6 months and for me to go to my city court and get my record print out. What does this even mean could it be that the ssn i was issued had a previous record, i really dont know what to do?? Can you guys help me im really frustrated😯😯

Sounds like someone may have used your SSN to apply for credit elsewhere. Get your free credit report with creditkarma.com and see what is and isn't yours. Your able to dispute errors directly with credit bureaus and they should work on getting that corrected in an appropriate manner.

I would try to get a background check, then call the 3 main credit reports agency and see whats up with your case. Still, since does your credit history tell you all that sorts of info? Could be some person who shares the same name as you messed up.

The questions that sprint asked you was actually to confirm your identity. They give you several choices for each question some of the choices are random but one of them is applicable to you. IF you obviously had no clue on how to answer them and responded incorrectly your identity could not be verify.
