Working in EXPIRED EAD

So HR calls me 1 day before my EAD expired. I was hoping they wouldnt find out. Now i know that HR is on top of their crap. Haaa! The HR employee told me that the GOVERNMENT gave them a 30 day grace period to get the new EAD from me. She told me to shoot her an email w attachment of new doc. Anyways, i just wanted to share what she told me about the 30 day grace period that the govt allows corporations to get new docs. So before they terminated you ask them about the 30 day grace period the govt allows them, tell them to call USCIS. I hope this helps. Btw im working on expired ead

What type of company do you work for?

I work for an oil and gas and till date they didnt ask me abt my ead. I went ahead and gave them an updated ead today anyways
