I asked the same question in another thread and I was told yes you have to take both with you. I guess they will take one at some point. But yeah safe travels and I look. forward to reading the replies here.

I took my passport, both pieces of the Advanced Parole documents (they keep one of them and give you the other one but they do stamp both of them). I also took my work permit, and my driver's license, I might have taken too many things but I didn't know what I needed so I just handed everything to the border patrol guy. Honestly, he probably could have only used my passport and advanced parole, though, and it would have been fine but I didn't take any chances.

You're going to need.
1. Your Passport
2. A visa if you're visiting another country
3. Both AP Documents
4. Your DACA approval letter

I don't recommend taking your EAD as it is expensive to replace. Have you're DACA letter as a backup evidence.

Only 2 AP docs and passport. Take your DL in case you drive wherever you going. Thats it.
