Does the case status site update?

I sent my renewal with less than 120 days but more than 100 left. I did my biometrics on 10/27 but I haven't received an update. This is what the case status says:

"On September 29, 2014, we received your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number LINXXXXXXX, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by October 29, 2014, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

I would have thought that there would be an update that says they received my biometrics. Any thoughts?

Also, I live in Arizona. Do you think we will qualify for in-state tuition now that we will be able to get licenses? When will be we be able to get licenses?

No it never says biometrics anyyhing. Only if its approved or rfe or name change.
